Project Background
Geotest Services was engaged to provide geotechnical and testing services for the Allianz Stadium field rehabilitation project. The scope of works included earthworks and drainage construction associated with the redevelopment of the playing field and the surrounding pathways..
Works Undertaken:
Geotechnical inspections and field testing were carried out during earthworks for the playing field and surrounding pathways. Subgrade conditions were inspected following excavation and preparation of the field profile.
Proof rolling and field density testing were undertaken to assess subgrade stability and verify compaction of placed materials.
Inspections were also completed during installation of the subsurface drainage system to confirm suitable trench conditions and placement of drainage materials.
Project Outcome
Inspections and testing confirmed that subgrade conditions and placed materials were suitable for the redevelopment works.
Earthworks and drainage construction were verified as compliant with project design and specification requirements, supporting the successful rehabilitation of the playing field and surrounding pathways.
